Apsody
Delete your data
Last updated: September 24, 2026 Effective date: September 24, 2026
Short version
In Apsody, open Kitchen → Settings → Legal → Delete my data (Delete account for an account from an earlier version); if you don’t see it, update the app first. It deletes your data on our servers and on your phone. Content reports and purchase records are kept, and deleting your data does not cancel a subscription.
How to Delete Your Data in the App
Your data is deleted from our servers first. Only when our server confirms it does the app clear your phone. If the server part fails, nothing is removed from your phone and you can try again.
Don’t see the option? Update Apsody from the App Store or Google Play. An update keeps your identifier and your data, and adds the option.
- Open Apsody and go to Kitchen → Settings.
- In the Legal section, tap Delete my data. If you signed in with an account in an earlier version, it appears as Delete account.
- Read what will be deleted and tap the delete button to confirm, or Cancel to keep everything.
What Is Deleted
- On our servers: your anonymous identifier (or your account from an earlier version), your saved recipes and drinks, and your usage records.
- On your phone: saved meals, cooking history, pantry, preferences, onboarding answers, the Bartender age confirmation, and your AI permission. The cooking reminder is turned off.
What Is Kept
- Reports you sent about a recipe or drink, kept for safety review. We have not yet set a period after which they are deleted.
- Your subscription and purchase records at Apple or Google and at RevenueCat.
- What OpenAI keeps under its own rules (see the Privacy Policy). Deleting your data in Apsody does not reach OpenAI.
- Technical request logs (codes, timings and counts) and backups at our providers, until they expire under those providers’ settings.
- On your phone: the app language and the installation’s own random ID, which never leaves your phone.
Your Subscription
Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed and managed in your App Store or Google Play account.

No Longer Have the App?
The current app has no sign-in, so your data is tied to a random identifier, not to your name or email address. To delete it for you, we have to find that identifier and make sure the request comes from you. Email supportapsody@gmail.com with one of the following:
- If you bought Premium: the order number from the App Store or Google Play receipt email. Forward that receipt from the address that received it, so we can check it is yours. It does not contain your full card number.
- If you signed in with an account in an earlier version: write from the email address of that account.
- If neither applies: we cannot reliably find anonymous data from an email alone, and we will tell you so instead of guessing. If you still have the phone, reinstalling may not bring the old data back; restoring the phone or the app from a backup sometimes does, and then you can use Delete my data.
We never ask for passwords, sign-in codes, or full payment card details.
