Use Apsody for personal, lawful purposes. Premium features require a subscription. AI-generated recipes, drinks, scans, and nutrition details are suggestions and estimates: always review them and use your judgment.

Acceptance of Terms

By using Apsody, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Apsody helps users type or scan ingredients, generate AI-powered recipe ideas, view estimated nutrition information, save meals, use pantry staples, and generate Bartender drink suggestions. Apsody is free to download and explore; typed or scanned ingredient input and AI generation of recipes or drinks are Premium features.

Eligibility and Minors

Apsody is not intended for children under 13. If you are a minor where you live, you may use Apsody only with permission from a parent or legal guardian where required. You must be able to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction or have appropriate permission to use the app.

Account Registration

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and protecting access to your account.

Apsody Premium, Trials, and Billing

Premium features may require a paid subscription or trial. Subscription terms, trial availability, renewal, cancellation, refunds, billing, taxes, and payment disputes are handled through Apple App Store or Google Play according to their rules and your app store account settings. Apsody does not control app store refund decisions.

AI-Generated Recipe and Drink Suggestions

Apsody uses AI to generate recipe, cooking, macro, and drink suggestions. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated, offensive, unavailable, unsafe, or unsuitable for your needs. You must review all outputs before relying on them.

Food Safety Is Your Responsibility

You are responsible for ingredient freshness, allergens, dietary restrictions, cooking temperatures, food handling, cross-contamination, substitutions, alcohol use, and safe preparation. Always use your judgment and trusted food safety guidance before preparing, serving, or consuming anything suggested by Apsody.

No Medical, Dietary, or Nutrition Advice

Apsody does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, diagnostic, or treatment advice. Calories, macros, serving sizes, and nutrition information are estimates only and may be inaccurate. Do not use Apsody as a substitute for advice from a qualified medical, nutrition, or dietary professional.

Camera and Image Recognition

Camera scanning and image recognition may misidentify, omit, or incorrectly interpret ingredients, quantities, packaging, labels, allergens, spoiled food, unsafe items, or surrounding objects. You must verify scanned results before generating or following suggestions.

Your Content

You may submit photos, ingredient lists, prompts, saved meals, feedback, support messages, and other content. You keep ownership of your content, but you grant Apsody a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, copy, display, modify, create derivative works from, and use your content to provide, secure, support, and improve the app.

Prohibited User Content

Do not submit content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, deceptive, private third-party information, or content you do not have the right to submit.

Acceptable Use

Use Apsody only for personal, lawful, non-commercial purposes. Do not reverse engineer, scrape, resell, overload, bypass paywalls, abuse endpoints, access APIs without authorization, interfere with security, commit fraud, violate app store rules, or use Apsody in a way that harms the service or other users.

AI Output Use

Apsody does not guarantee that AI outputs are unique, exclusive, copyrightable, accurate, safe, complete, or available only to you. Similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users. You are responsible for how you use outputs.

Intellectual Property

Apsody, its brand, software, designs, and content are owned by Apsody or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership rights to you.

Feedback

If you send suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or feedback, Apsody may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

Copyright and DMCA Requests

If you believe content in Apsody infringes your copyright, contact supportapsody@gmail.com with enough information for us to review and respond to the request.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using Apsody, you also agree to that policy.

Third-Party Services

Apsody may rely on third-party services including Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, RevenueCat, Supabase, AI providers, Apple App Store, Google Play, hosting providers, email providers, and support tools. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, outages, limits, errors, and billing rules.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you abuse the service, commit fraud, bypass payment or entitlement controls, interfere with security, violate these Terms, violate law, infringe third-party rights, or create risk for Apsody, users, app stores, or service providers.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Apsody is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accurate AI outputs, accurate macros, correct image recognition, safe recipes, suitable drink suggestions, continuous Premium access, or error-free third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Apsody is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for claims related to AI outputs, food preparation, allergens, health outcomes, alcohol use, data loss, service interruption, third-party services, subscription errors, refund decisions, or your reliance on suggestions.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Apsody harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses related to your misuse of the service, submitted content, violation of these Terms, violation of law, violation of app store rules, or violation of third-party rights.

Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, and Class Action Waiver

To the maximum extent permitted by law, disputes may be resolved through individual binding arbitration rather than in court or as part of a class action. This does not prevent either party from bringing qualifying claims in small claims court or seeking injunctive or equitable relief for intellectual property, security, or unauthorized access issues. Mandatory consumer rights and remedies that cannot legally be waived remain preserved.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
